What Is Better To Have Dental Implant Or Partial Denture?
I heard implant is not good because the presence of metal in the body which is a foreign material and the body will act with antibodies.Also that if you have dentures,even partial , the bones will retract and you will look older . How are the dentures now days,can you really eat good with them and what happens if you forget taking them off during sleep?
Does Anyone Have Experience With Dental Implants?
I’m scheduled for an upper incisor titanium implant, recommended by my dentist of 30+ yrs and my periodontist. However I’ve recently heard of 2 aquaintances who had implants done, had problems, and actually had them taken out.
I don’t know what the problems were as I don’t know them well enough to call and ask, but infection was mentioned.
Does anyone have personal experience with implants who can shed more light on the issue?

I Have Floaters?
I have floaters in my eyes, I am a dental lab technician and work on very small objects (teeth) and work a lot under a 10 power microscope. There’s very poor lighting in the lab and the lab is very dusty. Can my profession make my floaters worse? Is my job causing the floaters?
