Please Help Me About My Interview?
Hi everyone
I got an interview that will be on tomorrow today. It is from the dental lab. Although I never have any experience about doing lab in dental lab, I am really interested in it and would like to learn new experience. BUT I would like to know what questions will be asked during the interview. I also don’t know what they will ask about the dental lab assitant’s position.
Please help me if you have this experience.
Thanks
I Have A Question About Permanent Dental Crowns?
i just got an all porcelain crown put on one of my upper front tooth, needless to say it looks bad. the temp. crown i had in was so much better looking and i was assured that the crown was going to be fantastic. i told my dentist that i was very unhappy, and i have an appointment to go back tomorrow to hopefully im assumming to get a new one made. But i remember him telling me that my teeth on both sides of the crown kind of go inward so it was hard to make the crown do that as well. isnt that what labs do? fabricate the crown to match the others? not everyone in the world has perfect straight teeth. im not not saying i have horrible teeth but they do slightly go inward a little. my crown right now sticks straight out, like it belongs on someone with perfect straight teeth that go out. is there someone out there that works at a lab and can tell me a few pointers. i just really dont want to go in and get another crown made if its just going to come back looking the same.
Question About Insurance Covering Dental Procedures? Please Answer!!?
My insurance covered my orthodontics as a teen.
They covered all routine dental work.
They covered a procedure in which I had a baby tooth pulled, because there was no adult tooth underneath.
They paid for the retainer that I had to wear in order to prepare my mouth for the eventual ‘fake tooth’ that would be installed in the ‘hole’.
They now say that they will not pay for the procedure in which the fake tooth will actually *be* installed, nor for any related lab tests and referrals, calling it a ‘cosmetic procedure’.
What the h*ll!!
If this is cosmetic, then what, exactly is orthodontics defined as?
And how about the pulling of the tooth in the first place?
Why will they not pay for the final result?
(any answer appreciated, since I now have a big hole in my mouth, and can’t afford the several-thousand dollars to fix this!)
